Carol Walker, Chief Executive Officer
Carol Walker has spent virtually her entire career in the field of education. From assisting a superintendent of schools to registering students at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, from acting as a board secretary for the Saudi Arabia International School to coordinating and managing the only overseas graduate program in Japan for University of Southern California and Chapman College, Ms. Walker has worked closely with students, faculty and administrators to facilitate learning at every level. She also gained invaluable experience in the corporate world with five years of customer service management at the Home Quarters corporate headquarters and acted as the lead corporate representative for negotiating among corporate officers, vendors, district managers and the public.

With a rich background in education, customer service and corporate negotiation, she has pursued state certification in mediation, earning the title of General Mediator from the Supreme Court of Virginia Department of Dispute Resolution Services. As CEO of Alpha Solutions Corporation, Ms. Walker directs its corporate operations and its Mediation services.

Anthony Walker, President
Mr. Walker enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. He received a performance-based commission and finally retired as the commanding officer of a 450-person ship repair facility and maintenance activity ship, where he led his organization in the strategic planning and implementation of total quality management. His education was concurrent with his naval career; he received an undergraduate degree in sociology from the State University of New York and graduated from George Washington University with a Master’s degree in Education and Human Resource Development.

After consulting with the U. S. Navy on a large-scale training program, he joined with Carol Walker to found Alpha Solutions, a private company dedicated to helping government agencies with organization improvement through the development of their people, their processes and their technologies.

He later helped found Alpha Learning Corporation to provide e-learning and developmental skills to private industry. As President of Alpha Solutions, he travels a minimum of 110,000 air miles per year to tell his company’s story on military bases and in boardrooms all across the U.S.

Brad Wood, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wood has more than 20 years of experience in Governmental Contract Accounting, Finance, Auditing, and Contract Administration. Mr. Wood has previously served as Director of Internal Audit, Controller, Contract Administrator and Chief Financial Officer at several large defense contractors locally. In addition to ensuring compliance with all Federal Acquisition Regulations and submissions, Mr. Wood has successfully converted and mechanized all accounting and finance activities. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Mr. Wood holds a Masters Certificate in Contract Administration and is a ISO Certified Auditor.
